Robin Jessica Tunney better known as Robin Tunney is a well-known American actress. She was born on June 19, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. She is the daughter of Cathy Tunney and Patrick Tunney. When she was at the age of 19 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. She made her first acting debut in 1992 in the film Encino Man in which she played the role of Ella. In 1993 she made her appearance in the TV series Cutters in which she played the role of Deborah. In 1997 she played the role of Sarah in the film Julian Po. In 1999 she made her appearance in the film End of Days in which she played the role of Christine York. In 2003 she made her appearnce in The In-Laws by playing the role Angela Harris. In 2004 she made her appearance in the pilot episode of TV series House by playing the role Rebecca Adler. In 2006 she played the role Leonore Lemmon in the film Hollywoodland. In 2008 she made her debut in the film August in which she played the role of Melanie. In the same year she made her appearance in the film Passenger Side by playing the role Theresa. She made her next appearance in the TV series The Mentalist by playing the role Teresa Lisbon.
She married producer/director Bob Gosse on October 4, 1997 and they divorced in 2006. In 2009 she got engaged to Australian writer/director Andrew Dominik and they ended their relation in August 2010. She is now engaged to interior designer Nicky Marmet on December 25, 2012.
