Noomi Norén better known as Noomi Rapace is a famous Swedish actress She was born on December 28, 1979 in Hudiksvall, Sweden. She started her acting career at the age of seven when she earned her first role in the film Í skugga hrafnsins. At the age of 15 she enrolled in tthe Stockholm theatre school as she wanted to become an actress. She made her television debut in the series Tre Kronor in 1996. In 1997 she made her film debut with a role Nadja in the film Sanning eller konsekvens. After that she made her appearance in the film Rod Jul in 2001. In 2003 she made her appearances in the films En utflykt till månens baksida and Capricciosa. In 2007 she made her appearance in the film Daisy Diamond for which she earned Bodil Award for Best Actress and Robert Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film. In 2009 she did her debut role in the film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for which her performance earned her several awards and nominations including: Guldbagge Award for Best Actress, Nymphe d’Or for Best Actress in a TV-Mini-Series, Nymphe d’Or for Best Actress, BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role and several other awards. In 2012 she made her appearance in the film Prometheus for which she was nominated for Teen Choice Award for Best Movie Breakout. She than appeared into the films Dead Man Down and Passion.
She has married to Swedish actor Ola Norell in 2001 and the couple have a son named Lev.
