Melissa Suzanne McBride better known as Melissa McBride is an American actress and casting director. She was born on May 23, 1965 in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. She started her acting career in 1993 when she made her debut in the TV series Matlock in which she played the role of Darlene Kellogg. In 1995 she made he debut in the film Mutant Species in which she portrayed Tiffany’s Mom’s role. In the same year she made her appearance in the TV series American Gothic by playing the role Holly Gallagher. She made her next debut in the TV series Profiler by playing the role Walker Young. In 1997 she portrayed the role of Dr. Rachel Woods in the TV series Walker, Texas Ranger. In 1998 she made her debut in the TV series Dawson’s Creek in which she played the role of Nina. In 2002 she made her debut in the film The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys by playing the role of Mrs. Doyle. Her next role was Melanie in the TV series Dawson’s Creek. In 2008 she made her debut in a TV film Living Proof in which she played the role of Sally. During 2010-present she made her debut in the TV series The Walking Dead in which she is playing the role Carol Peletier for which she has won Satellite Award for Best Cast – Television Series in 2012.
