Newly single Katy Perry had lunch alone after cheery morning television appearance on Wednesday morning but later the young pop star who has recently ended her relationship from her boyfriend John Mayer was looking downcast when she headed for a lunch alone in Sydney at upmarket Catalina restaurant in Rose Bay. The beautiful pop star changed into a grungy shirt dress and a denim jacket after her all smiles on Australian breakfast TV show Sunrise appearance on Wednesday morning to promote her upcoming world Prismatic tour.
The 29 year old Roar singer covered her head with a black beanie cap. She also wore fishnet tights and ankle high black boots despite the it was hot and sunny weather. While heading towards the restaurant Katy Perry kept her head down and walked alone and listening to headphones. The sparkling Teenage Fream singer has recently ended her relationship from her on-again off-again boyfriend John Mayer. When she made her appearance on the morning show Sunrise she was talking to the hosts of the show David Koch and Samantha Armytage, she doged a fan question about whether or not she had a boyfriend, she said: ‘All of my fans are my boyfriend,’ she replied before pointing to the koala next to her. ‘This is my boyfriend!’
Page six reported last week that Katy Perry has ended her two year relationship with her then boyfriend John Mayer after discovering a text message on his mobile phone from some randomgirl. The claims are in some contrasts to the previous reports that Katy Perry and John Mayer’s split was a mutual and extremely amicable and the couple has also decided that they will stay friends after their two year relationship. This is not the first time when the couple have ended their relationship since they began dating in 2012. The couple also had a brief split in March but after some time they reunited.
Earlier this Wednesday she was caused a stir on morning show Sunrise when she commented on her controversial kiss with her fellow pop star Miley Cyrus. She said: ‘I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do, and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away’. ‘God knows where that tongue has been. We don’t know! That tongue is so infamous!’
While at the show she also tried her hand at reading weather but she tried her best to pronounce city names like Cairns and Canberra. She also referred to Hobart as Hogwarts jokingly. The pop star said, ‘And if you didn’t understand all this I’m sure you have an app on your phone!’
When she stepped out of the studio she thrilled a crowd of her fans who linked up in Sydney’s Martin Place to have some autographs of their idol.
