Catherine Ann Bosworth better known as Kate Bosworth is a famous American actress, model and singer. She was born on January 2, 1983 in Los Angeles, California, United States. She is the daughter of Patricia Bosworth and Harold Bosworth. She born with heterochromia iridum so she has a hazel right eye and a blue left eye. She started her career in 1997 with a minor role in the TV series 7th Heaven. She made her next debut in the film The Horse Whisperer in which she played the role of Judith. In 2000 she made her debut in the film Remember the Titans in which she appeared as Emma Hoyt. In 2002 she made her debut in the film Blue Crush in which she played the role Anne Marie Chadwick for which she was nominated for three awards: MTV Movie Award for Best On-Screen Duo, MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Female Performance and Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie Actress – Drama/Action Adventure. In 2004 she played the role of Rosalee Futch in the film Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! for which she was nominated for three awards. In 2006 she played the role of Lois Lane in the film Superman Returns for which she was nominated for Saturn Award for Best Actress and two other awards. In 2008 she made her debut in the film 21 in which she portrayed the role of Jill Taylor for which she won a ShoWest – Special Award for Best Ensemble. In 2010 she made her appearance in the film The Warrior’s Way in which she played the role of Lynne. In 2011 she made her appearance in the film Straw Dogs in which she portrayed the role of Amy Sumner. In 2013 she played the role of Billie in the film Big Sur. In the same year she made her debut in the film Movie 43 in which she played the role of Arlene.
During 2000 to 2002 she dated American actor Matt Czuchry. After that she was in two year relationship with actor Alexander Skarsgård which was ended in July 2011. In 2013 she married to Michael Polish.
