Emily Erin Deschanel better known as Emily Deschanel is a famous American actress and producer. She was born on October 11, 1976 in Los Angeles, California, United States. She is the daughter of Caleb Deschanel and Mary Jo Deschanel. She is the sister of actress, model, songwriter and musician Zooey Deschanel. She started her career in 1994 with a minor role in the film It Could Happen to You. In 2002 she made her debut in TV series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in which she played the role of Cassie Germaine. In 2003 she made her appearance in the film Cold Mountain in which she played the role of Mrs. Morgan. In 2004 she appeared as a receptionist in the film Spider-Man 2. During 2005-2013 she made her brief appearance in the TV series Bones in which she portrayed the role of Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan. She played the role Dr. Farquad in the film My Sister’s Keeper in 2009. She made her next appearance in the film The Perfect Family in which she played the role of Shannon Cleary. In the same year 2011 she provided her voice for a role in one episode of TV series The Cleveland Show.
She married actor and writer David Hornsby on September 25, 2010 and the couple has a son Henry Lamar Hornsby.
