Devon Edwenna Aoki better known by her professional name Devon Aoki is an American model and actress. She was born on August 10, 1982, in New York City, New York, United States. She is the daughter of Hiroaki Aoki and Pamela Hilburger. She has one brother Steve Aoki. She started her modelling career when she was at the age of 13. At the age of 14, she was signed to Storm Model Management. In 1998 she replaced Naomi Campbell as the face of Versace. She has modelled for several fashion houses including Lancôme, Chanel and Versace. She has also made her appearance in several music videos, including Duran Duran’s “Electric Barbarella”, Primal Scream’s “Kowalski” (with Kate Moss), Elton John’s “Something About the Way You Look Tonight” and, later, in Ludacris’ “Act a Fool”. She started her acting career with a minor role in the film Death of a Dynasty in which she portrayed the role of Picasso. In the same year, he made her debut in the film 2 Fast 2 Furious in which she played the role of Suki.In 2005 she made her appearance in the film Sin City. She than appeared in the film Sean Lennon’s Friendly Fire. She made her next acting debut in the same year in the film DOA: Dead or Alive. In 2007 she did a role in the film War in which she played the role of Kira Yanagawa. In 2009 she did a role in the film Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead in which she portrayed the role of Anna.
She was engaged to James Bailey in January 2011 and she gave birth to their first child Hunter in June 2011.
