David Robert Joseph Beckham better known as David Beckham is a world’s most famous English footballer. He was born on May 2, 1975 in Leytonstone, London, United Kingdom. He is the son of David Edward Alan “Ted” Beckham and Sandra Georgina. He has played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, Los Angeles Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team for which he holds the appearance record for an outfield player. After earning success in four countries he became the first English player who has won the league titles in four countries. He started his career at the age of 17 in 1992 when he made his first-tem debut with Manchester United. While playing for Manchester United he won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice and the UEFA Champions League in 1999. In July 2007 he signed a five year contract with Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy. On September 1, 1996 he made his first debut in international football. He was captain for six years during which he played 58 times. In 2004 he was the world’s highest-paid footballer when taking into account salary and advertising deals. In 2007 when he joined the MLS he was given the highest player salary in the league’s history of US$6.5m per year.
In 1999 he married to actress and businesswomen Victoria Beckham and the couple have four children Harper Beckham, Brooklyn Beckham, Romeo Beckham and Cruz Beckham.
