Adele (Adele Laurie Blue Adkins) was born on 5 May 1988 in Tottenham, North London, England, UK. Her mother Penny Adkins was a teenager and her father Mark Evans was a Welshman. Adele’s father Mark Evans left her mother Penny Adkins, when Adele was just 2 years old and her mother were just 20. Adele’s mother raised her alone and this is the reason that she has toll not forgiven her father.
Adele start singing when she was 4. Adele was a great fan of “Spice Girls” and in regard she said, they made me what i am today. At the age of 9, Adele and her mother relocated to Brighton but after two years both mother and daughter moved back to London. When she was 16 she started writing and subject “West Norwood” for her first record “Hometown Glory”.
Adele graduated from Brit School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon in May 2006. Four months after the graduation she recorded a three-song and gave it to her friend, her friend posted the song on MySpace where it became very successful and then she received a phone call from XL Recordings. Adele went for a meeting with XL recordings where Jonathan Dickins became her official representative in 2006.
In 2007, Adele’s breathtaking song “Hometown Glory” was released in October 2007 and in 2008 she became the first recipient of the BRIT Awards and in the same year 2008 in an annual BBC poll of music critics she was named the number one breakthrough.
At the age of 19, she wrote many songs and entered the British charts at number one. She released her second song “Chasing Pavements” on 14 January 2008 and the song reached at number two on the UK Chart and stayed there for four weeks. In the following year Adele started world tour “An Evening with Adele” and ended in June 2009. Later she canceled the US tour as she was dating with a former boyfriend.
In 2010, Adele recieved a Grammy notification for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “Hometown Glory”. Adele performed a widely publicized duet of Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” with Darius Rucker. In October 2011, Adele was admit in the hospital for microsurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. A recording of her tour “Live at the Royal Albert Hall” was released in November 2011 which made a success and the 96,000 copies were sold in US. After the Throat microsurgery she performed in at the Grammy Awards 2012 in February.
In October 2012, Adele confirmed that she has been writing and recording the theme song for Skyfall and said that “Skyfall” is the proudest moment of her life.
Same year in 2012 Adele was dating with Simon Konencki and in June 2012 she announced that she and Simon Konecki are expecting a baby and gave birth to a son on 19 October 2012.
